INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMPANY

Oktay Akat, as a electrical engineer (M.Sc.), had begun to make contract jobs in 1967. This company joined to AKAT Eng. Co, (a family company) with all its finance and stocks in 1983. It still goes on making its facilities as a co-operation company.

The jobs that have been made till today is given in the reference list, in the attachment.

Related to these facilities the O-group contractor license was taken from the Ministry of Civil Works (2.500.000.000 TL) in 1988. In addition to that the consulting license was taken (it is as unlimited license) for the jobs to be made abroad. These are all given in the attachment .

Our company has related and has an extensive experience with the jobs such as electrification of cities or industries, big pumping stations, energy transmission and substation centers. However; in recent years we nearly gave up dealing with these subjects. Instead we are mainly focusing on corrosion and the prevention of corrosion such as cathodic protection.

The list about our equipment and machine park is given in the attachment. However this list can be changed according to time and needs.

The ones who-are thought as our key personal, are usually working with us for a long time. The founder of our company Oktay Akat is a member of Consulting Engineering and Architect Union. Also he is a founder member of Corrosion Association. Moreover he is a member of FIDIC.
